Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Data Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise data and analytics transformation program within local government.
This role will play a key part in designing, building and governing a modern Microsoft Fabric data platform, enabling enterprise reporting, analytics and future AI capabilities across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of Microsoft Fabric data solutions
- Build and optimise scalable data pipelines and Lakehouse architectures
- Develop and maintain Azure-based data platforms and integrations
- Drive data governance, security and platform best practices
- Work closely with technical and business stakeholders across the organisation
- Support enterprise reporting, analytics and real-time data initiatives
