Job Description
We are working with a leading international energy organisation who are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor, who has admission to the Malaysian bar. The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Legal on broad range of matters including petroleum agreements, project agreements, regulatory governance, corporate secretarial, procurement issues, external relation matters where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Legal in reviewing agreements/contracts and in negotiations related to the Company’s business activities.
- Provide legal risk assessment and impact of business decisions particular in relation to the Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs), Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) and other upstream related agreements.
- Ensure that all agreements and contracts entered by the company are negotiated and concluded on the most favourable terms for the Company.
