Job Description
We are partnering with an exciting new hedge fund spin-off that is seeking a Counsel for its London office. This will be the second legal hire at the firm, working closely with the General Counsel on a wide range of matters. With a strong focus on technology, the role offers the opportunity to act as a key bridge between the legal, product, and technology teams, playing an integral part in shaping the firm’s growth and operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key link between legal, product, and technology teams, bringing curiosity and enthusiasm for innovation and emerging technologies.
- Support the global legal team across a wide range of matters, with an initial focus on commercial, corporate, and technology-related documentation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including:
- Research and data contracts
- Software and technology licenses
- SaaS, AI, and vendor contracts
