JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide expert legal and technical support in managing complex tax disputes, representing clients in negotiations and litigation, and ensuring compliance with tax legislation. The manager will work closely with senior management, clients, and external stakeholders to resolve disputes efficiently and strategically.
Key Responsibilities
- Tax Dispute Management
- Handle tax dispute cases with SARS and other regulatory authorities.
- Draft legal opinions, objections, and appeals in line with tax legislation.
- Represent clients in tax dispute hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Legal Advisory
- Provide technical guidance on tax legislation, case law, and compliance requirements.
