Position Overview: Responsible for managing the implementation of Human Resources policies and programs encompassing overall objectives for human resources in the Area and subareas (if applicable) as well as personnel costs controlling. This includes employee relations, payroll and benefits, employment and staffing activities, recruitment, performance evaluation, training and compliance with employment laws, relationship with Unions and third parties Consultants. As a Senior Manager, the position assists the Director with strategic direction and contributes to the business wide strategy. He/ She is responsible for providing employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems and in resolving complex, escalated complaints or disputes. He/ She will assist both internal and external customers in resolving complex issues requiring specialized knowledge of a functional area and/ or broad knowledge across functions.
