What the role is:
As a Senior Manager/Manager in the Compliance team, you will need to implement various initiatives to improve the employment relationships between employers and their migrant domestic workers (MDWs) and ensure the well‑being and protection of MDWs during their employment in Singapore. In your course of work, you will:
- Work with various stakeholders to review and implement programmes, such as workshops for employers who experienced multiple changes of MDWs within a short period, and house visits and interviews for MDWs, to set the appropriate expectations and shape behaviour in both parties, so that they are better able to maintain a healthy employment relationship and comply with the various rules and regulations.
- Perform operational tasks such as handling of public enquiries, appeals and waiver requests, conduct process reviews and support IT development to improve operational efficiency.
