Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer must be a highly skilled and detail-orientated manufacturing engineer with a strong background in CNC precision machining. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and optimising manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective production
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes for new and existing products.Create detailed process documentation, including work instructions, setup sheets, and tool lists.Evaluate and select appropriate cutting tools, fixturing, and machining parameters.Conduct process capability studies and root cause analysis of machining-related issues.Lead or support NPI projects, ensuring manufacturability of components.Collaborate with engineering to provide DFM/DFA (design for manufacturing/assembly) feedback.Implement lean manufacturing and continuous impro...
