Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of automotive parts.

Responsibilities:

Material Planner reports to Production Control Manager prepares material plans and works with the production team to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Planning and tracking materials requirement of local & overseas raw materials of current & new projects.
  • Controlling and monitoring local & overseas raw materials inventory and premium freight charges.
  • Preparing monthly material reports as required.
  • Reviewing and ensuring supplier delivery terms on Purchase Order and actual shipment is well aware and followed between supplier and freight forwarder.
  • Providing corrective problem solving if actual material received less than, significantly higher than, delay from the plan.
  • Providing supplier delivery performance feedback (%) and counter.
