Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Maternity Support Worker (MSW) to work in Maternity services at UHBW. The role supports the multidisciplinary team across inpatient antenatal and postnatal wards, Central Delivery Suite, Antenatal Clinic (outpatient), Community and Maternity Triage Unit. The MSW will provide direct care to women, birthing people, families and newborns, maintaining high standards of compassionate healthcare.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
A Senior Maternity Support Worker is a core team member delivering direct care and supporting registered practitioners. Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out clinical and non-clinical tasks under supervision.
- Providing care aligned with individual care plans and Trust values.
- Participating in team-based care of women and newborns across various units.
