Your Role as Senior Mechanical Engineer - Design/Consulting Mining
Reporting to the Supervisor of Mechanical Engineering Services, you will be playing a leadership role within a multi-discipline team to provide mechanical engineering design for detailed engineering projects. You are also responsible for leading design activities, maintaining project schedules and ensuring successful project completion. You will utilize your mechanical engineering expertise, act as a resource for industry codes, standards, and construction methods, and contribute to the expansion of the existing mechanical team and practice at the firm.
Your Key Accountabilities
- Technical Expertise & Documentation
- Lead and manage the design and analysis of mechanical systems including, but not limited to, underground and surface mining infrastructure, pumping and piping systems, industrial mechanical systems, and specification of various types of mechanical equipment.
