Ricardo is expanding its mechanical development capability in the U.K. We require engineers based at our Shoreham site, who are also flexible to work at other Ricardo sites and at customer locations in the U.K. (for a pre‑agreed period of time if the project requires it).
The role will require an understanding of automotive components, systems and associated vehicle parts. An understanding of transmission operation would also be beneficial. The job will require close co‑operation with OEMs, suppliers and test, design and analysis areas to define appropriate testing plans, analyse results and make recommendations for design changes on either new powertrain designs, vehicle interface systems or fault diagnostics projects.
