Job Description
+ Model complex, lofted aerospace parts in NX and possibly SolidWorks
+ Perform and interpret Finite Element Analyses
+ Design tooling to manufacture, repair, and assemble parts
+ Participate in bid and proposal efforts by providing technical proposal content
+ Participate in AS9100/ISO 9001 audits and provide quality engineering support as needed (e.g. authoring quality plans/inspections, etc)
+ Reverse engineer parts using a Faro arm, Keyence and Verisurf software to fill in missing or incorrect data in drawing and loft and use Faro arm to verify models created
+ Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes
+ Document actions by completing logs
+ Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications
+ Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomp...
