Senior Satellite Mechanical Engineer
About the Role We are seeking candidates for a Senior Satellite Mechanical Engineer position to lead the design, development, integration, and validation of spacecraft mechanical systems across the full mission lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop spacecraft mechanical systems including structures, mechanisms, avionics enclosures, and support assemblies. Create detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings using NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks. Perform structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS, NASTRAN, or equivalent FEA tools. Ensure designs meet launch loads, vibration, shock, thermal, and space environment requirements. Support Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) activities including vibration, acoustic, thermal vacuum, and shock testing. Manage electronics packaging, PCB mechanical support, harness routing, and avionics integration. Select materials, coatings, and finishes suitable for space applications and qualification st...
