Senior Mechanical Engineer – Water Team, Scotland
Support the delivery of a diverse and high‑impact portfolio of water projects, shaping sustainable and resilient water systems for the future. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, providing engineering design, technical specifications, and construction support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support.
- Produce plant layouts, design drawings and mechanical plant selection including specifications, WIMES Data Sheets, valve schedules, equipment schedules, lifting strategies, hydraulic headloss calculations and P&IDs for water projects.
- Liaise and collaborate with water, civil, electrical, process and mechanical engineering teams nationwide.
- Visit sites to carry out surveys and support client, contractor and supplier liaisons.
