Senior Medical Officer – Hobart


  • Permanent Part Time | 54 Hours per Fortnight

    An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Senior Medical Officer (SMO) to join the Medical Support team at Calvary Hobart.


    Based primarily at Calvary St John's Hospital, with weekend coverage at Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital, the SMO provides onsite and on-call medical care across both hospital sites while supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.


    Working closely with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs), nursing teams and multidisciplinary clinicians, the SMO plays a key role in the management of medical inpatients, emergency responses and clinical governance activities.
