Ref: 210723 Senior Medical Officer/GP Obstetrics & Gynaecology Western NSW
Clinical handover at 0800 with outgoing or incoming obstetricians in Maternity ward or by telephone. Daily inpatient maternity ward rounds from 0800 - 0900. The shift is 24 hours in total, 4 hours to be onsite also including weekend coverage to conduct antenatal clinics as needed, particularly for patients at or beyond 36 weeks who may not have been seen yet by the Obstetrician on call.
