Are you looking for a senior clinical post that will allow you to develop leadership skills while working with the elderly in a busy, dynamic environment? The Elderly Medicine Therapy team at Royal Derby Hospital is recruiting for a permanent Occupational Therapy position.
The post holder will join an established, vibrant and friendly team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and assistant staff who share an office base and work closely together to provide a consistent and responsive Therapy service to our Elderly Medicine wards and a General Medicine ward.
You will carry a caseload independently, provide supervision and support to junior OT staff and assistants, and play an active role in the development of the service and its staff. You must be adaptable, calm, and able to delegate work effectively so priorities across the service are covered while working closely with other senior OTs and Physiotherapists.
