Job Responsibilities
He / She will assist in the supervision of occupational therapists AH11/12 and therapy assistants deployed to the workgroup.
Primary Responsibilities- Assesses and manages patients referred for occupational therapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans, applying specialised occupational therapy knowledge and skills.
- Reports to referring doctor and other members of the medical team.
- Documents patient occupational therapy records accurately.
- Updates individual performance statistical records monthly.
- Complies with clinical and service standards.
- Practices within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor / other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
