Job Overview
Our client is looking to recruit a senior member of its Planning team to co-ordinate production scheduling, ensure compliance to customer delivery deadlines, work across production teams and represent the planning team at a managerial level.
Key Responsibilities
- Dealing with production teams to ensure scheduling plans are met
- Full awareness of production status at all times across all manufacturing areas and at outworkers, taking corrective action where necessary to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved
- Maintain communications with Outworkers, Customer Service and Operations to react and be proactive in changes to production
- Liaising and meeting with internal customers, outworkers and suppliers and occasionally with external customers
- Provide essential support to the Planning Manager and Operations Management Teams
