Job Description
Based in Bentley and reporting to the Planning Manager, you'll sit within a high-performing Future Energy team responsible for planning and developing power systems that serve regional and remote communities across WA's vast 2.3 million km² network. This is serious engineering work with real-world impact at scale.
Your day-to-day will span:
- Power system load flow, dispatch and dynamic modelling (RMS and EMT)
- Renewable Energy Connection Assessments
- Short to Medium Term Capacity Planning and Load and Circuit Development
- Technical evaluation of DER integration and emerging grid technologies
- Financial analysis of feasible network solutions
- Maintaining system planning models and upholding planning standards
- Mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team
