This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a suitably qualified planner to take up a key role within the Council's Planning and Regeneration service, in particular to help drive forward Swansea's ambitious forward planning and placemaking agenda.
The role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, all of which are focused on shaping future development in Swansea and delivering positive outcomes for people and nature. The diversity of work available to you as a planner in Swansea is reflective of the areas distinctive natural and built environments, which encompasses vibrant urban areas (including a city centre experiencing transformative regeneration), extensive rural hinterland (including the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and spectacular coastal locations.
