Job Description
The position offers the opportunity to be a Plastics and Composites Engineer and work on a variety of growth initiatives in the electric and ICE vehicle space. The position requires the passion for learning about the design and manufacture of plastics and composites, supplier interactions, design and release of plastics and composites, and participate in projects in accordance with engineering excellence.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Subject matter expert in 1 or more areas of component design (exterior body panels, interior, chassis/structural components, and fuel tanks) and processes (injection molding, extrusion, compression molding, blow molding, thermoforming).Understanding of all processes to manufacture plastic components: injection molding, extrusion, compression molding, blow molding, thermoforming, and other common processes used for the manufacturing of products made from polymeric materials.Develop and maintain material and component...
