- Provide manufacturing support for optical thin film coatings to ensure on-time delivery and production targets are met.
- Lead new process introduction activities, including process development, capability enhancement, and machine upgrades.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives such as cycle time reduction and machine process transfer (in/out) to enhance productivity.
- Provide technical support on proper substrate handling and integration into the coating environment, including substrate preparation methods.
- Operate and utilize metrology instruments for thin film characterization, such as spectrophotometers.
- Identify and diagnose production issues, collect and analyze supporting data, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to sustain process performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for thin film processes, including SOPs, work instructions, and coating process plans.
