Job Purpose
• To provide technical and operational support for the effective and efficient performance of the procurement functions of the commission.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Collates data for the formulation of policies
• Implements, monitors and evaluates programmes and activities of the unit
• Develops procurement manuals and procedures for the commission
• Develops, maintains and updates the database of suppliers, contractors and service providers as well as the procurement activities of the commission
• Prepares the annual and other periodic reports of the procurement functions to the public procurement commission (PPA) through the Head of Entity
