Senior Project Accountant
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Project Accountant will be part of a high‑performing project team dedicated to delivering construction projects in the Greater Toronto Area. You will provide project accounting leadership and support for joint‑venture arrangements, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficient financial management.
Location: Mississauga, ON or Calgary, AB.
What you will be working on
- Accountable for the financial management of projects for the joint venture arrangement, including gross profit, project % complete forecasting, WIP, revenue recognition, and backlog.
- Consolidate external financial joint‑venture documents and reports to be compliant with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Oversee cost management activities, including cost reconciliation, analysis, and control measures, while ensuring adherence to joint‑arrangement contracts.
