My client, an specialist M&E subcontractor, are actively recruiting for a senior project engineer with a mechanical / electrical background, to join their existing rail team on a high profile rail project in Birmingham.
The Senior M&E Project Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) systems within a rail environment. You will bridge the gap between design and construction, ensuring that all M&E services are installed, tested, and commissioned safely, on time, and in full compliance with rail industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the technical interface between M&E design teams and site-based installation teams.
- Act as the CRE (Contractor's Responsible Engineer) for M&E where required, signing off on technical designs and site changes.
- Review and approve Work Package Plans (WPPs) and Task Briefing Sheets (TBS).
