Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform procurement functions for Rubber Goods, Medical Consumables, and Dental Section.
- Collect quotations and initiate vendor discussions.
- Prepares and verifies comparative statements.
- Ensures timely delivery by preparing, issuing, and following up on Purchase Orders.
- Make local purchases as needed.
- Coordinates replacements of expired items and purchase returns.
- Assist in Product Evaluation Meetings.
- Work closely with Inventory, Finance, Internal Audit, and end users to ensure the Purchase Department runs well.
Qualifications and Experience
- MBA in Supply Chain or equivalent, with 5-7 years of relevant experience preferably in healthcare.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in MS-Office. Experience in Oracle ERP will be an added advantage.
