Job Description
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with company and client requirements.
- Conduct inspection and testing of mechanical works including piping HVAC firefighting systems equipment installation and structural components.
- Review and approve method statements ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and quality procedures.
- Ensure all mechanical installations comply with project specifications drawings and international standards such as ASME API ASTM ISO and NFPA.
- Coordinate with site engineers supervisors and subcontractors to ensure quality compliance.
- Conduct material inspections and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and vendor documentation.
- Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Witness and document pressure tests hydrotests pneumatic tests and equipment functional tests.
