Key Responsibilities Automation Strategy & Hands-on Build:
Define and execute the automation roadmap for the platform, and build it yourself. You'll be writing test code daily, not just reviewing approaches or producing strategy decks. Backend & API Test Coverage First:
Establish robust automated coverage for backend services and API integrations, with an emphasis on the payment flows where reliability matters most. Cover the contracts, edge cases, and failure modes that manual testing struggles to catch consistently. Framework & Tooling Foundations:
Stand up the test frameworks, tooling, and CI integration the team will rely on. Expected toolchain includes Playwright, Postman, JMeter or their equivalents, with test execution wired into GitLab pipelines so coverage runs on every change. End to End & UI Coverage:
