Job Description
Key Responsibilities Perform quantity take-offs for project works. Review and study pre-contract documentation and files. Identify specified materials or approved equivalents. Review pre-contract quotations and obtain additional quotations for required works. Verify availability of materials and assess delivery lead times. Source, clarify, and assist in the negotiation of quotations with subcontractors and suppliers. Reconcile contract quantities against those claimed by subcontractors and suppliers. Measure, monitor, and price variation works. Prepare periodic progress valuations. Review and verify progress claims submitted by subcontractors. Study site instructions and advise the Project Manager on associated time and cost implications. Monitor project expenses and report financial status to the Project Manager. Brief site personnel on procedures for recording and confirming oral instructions. Manage and close out final accounts.
