Job Description
- Perform quantity take-offs for project works.
- Review and study pre-contract documentation and files.
- Identify specified materials or approved equivalents.
- Review pre-contract quotations and obtain additional quotations for required works.
- Verify availability of materials and assess delivery lead times.
- Source, clarify, and assist in the negotiation of quotations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Reconcile contract quantities against those claimed by subcontractors and suppliers.
- Measure, monitor, and price variation works.
- Prepare periodic progress valuations.
- Review and verify progress claims submitted by subcontractors.
- Study site instructions and advise the Project Manager on associated time and cost implications.
- Monitor project expenses and report financial status to the Project Manager.
