The NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights (https://bhr.stern.nyu.edu/about/) is seeking a Deputy Director (Senior Research Scientist) to advance the Center’s mission to challenge and empower companies and future business leaders to make practical progress on human rights. This high-profile position will work in partnership with the Director on all aspects of the Center’s activities. The Center’s approach combines research, teaching, and engagement with major global companies, governments and business educators. The Deputy Director will oversee the direction of the Center’s research agenda, which includes the production of long form, in-depth reports focused on how global businesses in different industries operate, assessing the human rights challenges they face, and proposing practical recommendations to companies and governments.
