Job Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate rock engineering
- Ensure safe and optimal extraction of ore reserves
- Locate and evaluate an excavation site
- Determine the equipment, personnel and budget needed to safely extract all potential minerals
- Control the incidence of rock bursts and design and implement all support standards
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications & Experience required:
- University Degree in Rock Engineering, Mining, or Geology
- Rock Mechanics Certificate
- Minimum of 8 years experience
