Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Provide nutrition science expertise in product innovation, messaging development, and scientific substantiation of Abbott brand products, particularly those designed for diabetes management.
- Partner with clinical scientists to conceptualize and design clinical studies to evaluate safety and efficacy of new ingredients and nutritional products, supporting product claims and regulatory submissions.
- Educate both internal and external audiences on the science behind the products
- Provide nutrition science expertise for product innovation, including innovation pipeline, new product development and reformulations.
- Responsible for the scientific substantiation of messaging and claims for Adult Nutrition (AN) products, ensuring accuracy, credibility, and global consistency.
