Senior Software Quality Engineer – Finance Domain
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and oversee complex test strategies.
- Plan and design tests, set up test environments, and prepare test data.
- Manage defects and configuration throughout the lifecycle.
- Work with SQL-based databases (Microsoft SQL, Snowflake, PostgreSQL) including creation of stored procedures, views, and tables.
- Test Master Data Management (MDM) systems and run tests against large datasets.
- Perform first‑level troubleshooting of defects for root‑cause analysis.
- Use Unix command line to access logs and manipulate files.
- Monitor application logs and investigate system behavior with AWS tools (S3, Secrets Manager) and cost models.
- Resolve technical issues, coordinate with Development and cross‑functional teams, and secure appropriate sign‑off.
