Job Description

Excel Recruitment are searching for a Sous Chef for a busy property in Galway city.The successful candidate will join a well established team to assist in the management of a busy kitchen and will have:


  • Have 2-3 years experience at senior chef level in a hotel kitchen with busy banqueting business

  • Experience of Food Safety Management systems

  • Knowledge of purchasing, stock management and waste management

  • Interest in training and coaching less experienced members of the team to ensure a consistently high quality product is delivered at all times

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a pressurised environment
