Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient needs and clinical evaluation.
- Conduct therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, language development, voice control, and cognitive-communication skills.
- Provide swallowing assessments and dysphagia management, including recommendations for safe feeding practices.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, home programs, and communication strategies.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in patient records.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient rehabilitation and discharge planning.
