We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in audit and review engagements, preparation of tax returns, and preparation of financial statements. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public accounting and grow within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in audit and assurance engagements, including fieldwork, testing, and report preparation
- Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures
- Maintain organized workpapers and ensure proper documentation of audit and review findings
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Federal and State)
- Perform account reconciliations and general ledger analysis
