Job Description
As a Senior Staff Sustaining Engineer on the Stretch Actuation team you will help our Logistics robotics engineering team design and produce the next generation of advanced robots for warehouse automation. Leading continuous improvement for actuators, you will be directly responsible for conducting failure analysis and root cause analysis on fielded actuators; driving mitigations and long term corrections; and working with suppliers to continually refine and improve our designs.
Combining technical insights with strong communication skills, you will lead design decision making and facilitate effective coordination among team members and ODM partners. You will play a major role in planning and executing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), working with our Systems and Manufacturing Test teams to validate changes and Supplier Quality to drive those improvements into production.
