Senior Staff Nurse (Various Discipline)

Different discipline and departments are available (Inpatient Ward, Operating Theatre, Endoscopy Centre, ICU and HDU)

The job responsibilities of senior staff nurses would include those of staff nurses, but also to demonstrate competency in clinical skills and knowledge by performing complex nursing procedures, utilizing clinical judgment, critical thinking and problem solving skills in the delivery of patient care. As a senior staff nurse, effective communication skills would be required to guide subordinates in all direct and in-direct patient care activities. Performing preceptorship duties and taking initiative in daily problem solving is a requirement. A senior staff nurse must also be able to demonstrate basic management and effective leadership skills.
