**PURPOSE:**
The Senior Strategy Associate is a member of the Enterprise Strategy / Business Consulting Group engaged in the conduct of strategy-phase projects aligned to CareFirst's corporate goals. The role acts as an internal consultant to senior leadership across the organization, providing strategic insights, thought-leadership and decision-support towards addressing our business's most pressing challenges. This position will interact frequently with and support senior and executive leadership as part of a team.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Strategy consulting: Contributes to project scoping, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and the building of storyboards as part of a project team. Independently leads project workstreams and smaller consulting engagements with the support of a project lead.
