Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Structural Draughtsman to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for leading the drafting and modelling of complex steel structures for onshore/offshore oil and gas facilities, including process structures, pipe racks, and equipment supports. The ideal candidate will mentor junior drafters and ensure all deliverables meet strict industry and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D Modelling & 2D Drafting: Develop accurate 3D models and precise 2D General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, and shop drawings for structural steel components (e.g., platforms, ladders, stairs, and handrails).
- Material Estimation: Prepare complete and accurate Material Take-Offs (MTO) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for procurement and fabrication.
- Quality Assurance: Review and check structural drawings and models produced by junior draftsmen for clashes, interferences, and dimensional accuracy. <...
