**Job Description Summary**
The Senior Civil/Structural Engineer will work on GE Vernova’s Grid Solutions team, supporting large & complex projects like HVDC, but will support other Grid Solution projects as needed including high voltage substations and FACTS. The Civil/Structural Engineer is accountable for the entire civil and construction scope, schedule, and budget throughout project execution, acting under the direction of the PM and project Lead Engineer.
Within a given project, the Civil/Structural Engineer leads the entire civil scope. This includes preparing project scope, identifying risks and opportunities, setting the design schedule, estimating design and construction budgets, managing civil design and construction subcontractors, ensuring quality control and timeliness of deliverables.
