The Senior Structural Steel Detailer is responsible for producing accurate 3D models, general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, single part drawings and erection information for structural steelwork projects using Tekla Structures.
The role involves interpreting structural and architectural design information, coordinating with engineers, project managers, workshop teams and site personnel, and ensuring all detailing work is practical, buildable and compliant with relevant project specifications and UK steelwork standards.
The Senior Structural Steel Detailer is expected to have a strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes, connection detailing, material scheduling and drawing issue control.
