Job Description
The Senior Surveyor is responsible for surveying works during the full phases of a construction project, ensuring that all measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites are accurate.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position is, and not limited to, as follows:
- Lead and independently manage surveying activities across all phases of the project, ensuring timely and accurate setting out, measurements and verification works.
- Review, verify and endorse survey data, calculations and site records to ensure accuracy, compliance with project requirements and readiness for construction use.
- Plan survey methodologies, establish control points, baselines and benchmarks, and resolve technical surveying issues on site with minimal supervision.
- Locate and mark sites selected for geophysical prospecting activities such as efforts to locate petroleum or other mineral products.
