Our client is sourcing a Senior Tax Manager for a 9-month contract.
About the Opportunity
- Support tax planning, M&A due diligence, acquisition integration, and cross-border structuring activities.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and business teams to provide technical tax guidance and operational support.
- Manage Canadian tax compliance including corporate income tax, GST/HST, transfer pricing, withholding tax, employment tax, and pension tax filings.
- Lead quarterly and annual tax provision processes, reporting disclosures, and uncertain tax positions under IFRS.
- Coordinate tax audits and disputes with tax authorities and external advisors.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and tax technology adoption to improve efficiency and data integrity.
- Supervise and mentor staff and external advisors while managing multiple deadlines and deliverables.
