About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technician to join our Highway Drainage Maintenance Section in the Environment & Preventative team at Leicestershire County Council.
The successful applicant will join a motivated, friendly team of professionals working in the highway drainage team. The role includes ordering works to maintain highway drainage assets, investigating and resolving highway flooding issues, engaging with members of the public and stakeholders, working with contractors and operatives on site, and helping support the delivery of the role of Leicestershire County Council as the Highway Authority, supporting the actions in Leicestershire’s Highways Maintenance Operational Plan and the Local Flood Risk Management Strategy.
The nature of the work may involve carrying out work outside of normal working hours and at different locations than your designated base.
