Responsibilities
- Applies advanced knowledge of testing principles, methodologies and techniques to test and ensure software / platform quality.
- Works with engineering teams to define testing strategies for new and existing applications.
- Develops and executes functional, integration and system tests.
- Develops and executes load, scalability and performance tests.
- Designs and develops test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications.
- Reviews code for accuracy and quality.
- Takes the lead on difficult defect detection, problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Detects problems where standard practice and / or software has failed to meet client requirements.
- Addresses escalated technical defects identified by less experienced team members.
- Leads team members in writing of scripts, expected results, test results and defect descriptions.
