Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Trust Fund Accountant to join their team for a 6 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong full-cycle accounting experience, a solid understanding of financial reporting, and the ability to manage a portfolio of trust fund clients in a client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate, up-to-date general ledger transactions. Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Prepare government remittances. Monitor cash flow and prepare bank transfers for surplus funds. Reconcile investment accounts with statements from custodians and investment managers. Coordinate investment transfers between custodians, investment managers, and client bank accounts.
