Key Responsibilities
Tunnel Design Development Produce and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications for TBM tunnels (EPB, Slurry, Hard Rock); SEM/NATM tunnels and caverns; launching/receiving shafts; cross-passages; station caverns and mined tunnels. Develop structural and geotechnical design models (2D/3D FEM, analytical, empirical).
Geotechnical and Structural Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of ground‑structure interaction for various ground conditions. Conduct numerical modelling (e.g., PLAXIS, FLAC, MIDAS, RS2, Abaqus). Evaluate settlement, convergence, lining stresses, and support requirements.
Design Documentation Prepare design reports, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications. Provide input for tender submissions, feasibility studies, and constructability assessments. Manage design revision cycles and ensure compli...
